"Cut"

 

Pages from magazines are cut, manipulated, layered, stacked and photographed to produce an image. They are then reworked digitally, adding and subtracting elements, falsifying the authenticity of the previous labour. The final process is then photo released. Much like the source material from fashion magazines, the final works presented are a series of calculated lies. We are left with an image that reads as an advertisement. However, this time is void of meaning and with the promise of nothing.
